On Thursday 19th November 2015 I attended a Makeup Artistry training day with a well known makeup artist called Angela Pumo. It was Amazing and I learnt so much from it and would recommend it to anyone who want to get into the makeup industry. There was around 20 people in our group and we learnt everything there is to know about bridal makeup and also catwalk makeup which we then got to try ourselves in the afternoon session.
For our Bridal look we learnt what colours worked together and how to apply makeup which suited the outfit, the colour of the clients hair and also their eyes. We could choose whether we wanted to create the Bridal look or the catwalk look so I didn’t chose not to recreate the catwalk look, however we were allowed to use glitter and bright eye shadows which looked great in photos.
At the end of the day we were presented with a certificate congratulating us on completing the training day and we could also buy some of the products that Angela used and also what we used. Overall it was a great day and I was so glad that I attended.
